Learn the art of creating ‘instant’ patchwork, after the style of the Seminole Indians. Use this technique to make a beautiful, hand finished objects.

Learn monotype and linocut printing techniques to create images based on nature and stories.

Contemporary Quilting

Saturday 29th March.

During this workshop you will explore traditional quilting techniques in a contemporary context. Initially, participants will learn ‘English’, ‘Italian’ and ‘Trapunto’ quilting techniques. You will then be encouraged to combine two or more techniques in order to produce a completed quilted design. This design could be used as a framed artwork or a facing for a cushion or bag.


Photoshop essentials for post 16 Photography students
