Indoor and Outdoor Environment
Friday 12th April.
Composition, lighting and telling stories. Think about the village in which you live and what gives it that sense of place, before experimenting with your own camera. We will view the photos during the class, and have fun sharing our photography and ideas.
Hand Applique
Monday 13th May.
Make a decorative, appliquéd cushion. Learn how to transfer a cut out design on to your chosen fabric and finish it with embroidered details. Take home an original and useful gift.
Counted Cross Stitch
Monday 3rd June.
Make a fine linen cross-stitched heart. Choose a simple motif and transfer it on to even weave fabric, using counted cross stitch. Take home an exquisite hand made gift.
Handmade Prints
Tuesday 19th March and
Monday 1st April.
Learn monotype and linocut printing techniques to create images based on nature and stories.
